"Rosemary Kilkenny currently serves as Vice President for Institutional Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer at Georgetown University. Rosemary’s previous positions included roles at Kent State University where served as Assistant Dean for Graduate Recruitment, Interim Director of Human Resource Utilization and at SUNY Albany as Director of Affirmative Action Programs.
Rosemary is one of eight cofounders of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE) and served on GDS’ Board of Trustees of Georgetown Day School from 2015 to 2021.
Rosemary received her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center, which awarded her the Paul Dean award for her distinguished career. She earned her Bachelors and Master’s degrees from Kent State University. On a personal note, Rosemary’s two sons Amadou and Malick attended GDS. Amadou transferred to St. Albans for high school and Malick graduated from GDS.
